The world’s first Internet reality show, the Next Internet Millionaire, created a lot of buzz around the marketing education being given to the contestants. Created by Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund, the show was all about using the Internet to sell products. Jason Henderson was one of the show’s competitors, and I interviewed him today. I just saw episode 10 of the Next Internet Millionaire. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it first– this post is going to be full of spoilers

My thought is that it was an interesting episode, definitely not what I expected. I’ll have to think about that a bit more before I can come up with a decent opinion regarding the actions of Jason Stanley Marshall. As you may know, met and talked with him while at BigSeminar X earlier this month.

It seems to me that reality shows are always games, but on the other hand there’s no reason to fight for credit when the opponent has already proven himself a liar.

Yet it would likely be a good idea for Jason to keep in touch with Thor and Joel as much as possible, get mentorship from them and make the most out of every moment. I also relayed this message to him as a comment on his blog
